This table is built around contrast: a cloud-white top streaked with violet-grey and near-black veins, set on a very architectural bronze base. The edge band is a plain, slightly heavier bronze than on lighter tables in the range, which gives the top a firm outline.
Six flat bronze blades stand in two groups of three beneath the top, each a different length of shadow when seen from the side, and all of them fixed to a round bronze plinth. The effect is a small colonnade under every table. It also keeps the middle of the base open enough to tuck a bag or a shoe.
Construction
- Sintered-stone top, cloud white with violet-grey veining
- Bronze metal edge band
- Six vertical bronze blades fixed to a round plinth
- Floor glides under the plinth
Specify it where the interior is stone and metal rather than fabric: a hotel brasserie, a lobby restaurant or an airport lounge dining room. Pair with upholstered chairs to soften the lines.
