Seen from above, this sofa traces a gentle S-curve. Along its outer edge, a row of tall, rounded channels rises like a scalloped fan; the channels are slimmest at the ends and deepest in the middle. The seat is a single, very deep cushion that follows the curve, which encourages guests to sit back and turn toward each other.
The velvet is black with irregular lime-green splashes, a high-contrast fabric that makes the sofa the centre of a dark bar lounge. It also hides wear and marks well, which matters in late-night spaces.
Construction
- Curved hardwood and plywood frame in joined sections
- Each channel filled individually with HR foam and fibre wrap
- Sinuous springs under a deep seat cushion
- Black and lime velvet shown; COM accepted
- Recessed black plinth with glides
The curve is drawn to suit your plan, either as a freestanding island or set against a curved wall. For bar use, we often specify a slightly shallower seat so that guests can sit forward at a cocktail table, and we confirm this on the shop drawing.
