Dark green does a lot of work in a hotel restaurant: it calms a room, flatters brass fittings and hides the day's crumbs. This square table carries a deep forest-green sintered stone threaded with fine gold-tan veins, cut with generously rounded corners and framed by a darker bronze edge.
The base is three curved bronze blades that flare out from a slim centre, like petals opening upward, and meet a soft-cornered triangular plate on the floor. Only one plate touches the floor, so chairs can be pulled in from any side without catching a leg.
Construction
- Sintered-stone top in forest green with gold veining
- Rounded corners, deep bronze metal edge
- Three-blade curved bronze base on a triangular plate
- Adjustable glides
It suits the more intimate end of the F&B outlet, such as a chef's counter-side table, a wine room or a private dining alcove. Order a few in the same green and the room takes on a quiet, library-like mood.
