Pale green stone is one of the few table finishes that sits well against both travertine walls and timber. These tables use it as the main feature.
Each top is a green veined marble-look slab framed by a slim brass edge band. It sits on a single black pedestal that tapers to a brass cone and a wide round brass foot. For a table of four the single pedestal leaves all corners free; longer tables are built on two pedestals.
The armchair has a deep curved back that wraps into short arms, upholstered in a soft grey woven fabric. A dark wood panel runs down the centre of the outer back and joins the rear legs, and all four legs are solid dark timber. It is a comfortable, fully padded chair for long dinners, but its back stays below the table edge so the room still looks open.

The photos show the set in a double-height hotel dining hall; it works equally in smaller lobby restaurants.
