This banquette borrows directly from 1920s hotel bars. The back steps down in two notches at each end, outlined by a polished brass frame that runs round the whole back panel. Inside the frame, dark green leather is embossed or stitched with rows of overlapping fans, a pattern that catches low light and reads at a distance.
The seat is a single long cushion in plain green leather with a crisp square front edge. Beneath it, a brass band separates the upholstery from a black marble-look plinth with white veining. The plinth keeps vacuum heads and shoes away from the leather and gives the piece a solid, built-in appearance.
Construction and options
- Hardwood and plywood carcass in sections joined on site
- Fan pattern by embossing, quilting or channel stitching, confirmed on sample
- Leather, COL or contract vinyl; any colour
- Brass, bronze or blackened metal frame; plinth in stone, sintered stone or painted timber
Use it as a wall banquette in a hotel bar, a speakeasy-style lounge or a Deco restaurant. Ends can be closed, open or turned into corners, and we can match the plinth to the bar front.
