Is there room for a classic shape in a contemporary lobby? This chair suggests yes. Its outline is a single continuous curve: the back rises at the centre and slopes down into full, rounded arms that come forward to the seat front. Piping traces that curve all the way round.
The seat cushion is button-tufted across its top and down its front face, which gives the chair its character and helps the cushion keep its shape. A loose lumbar pillow in the same velvet sits against the back. Four short turned feet in dark wood hold the chair just above the floor.

It suits lobby lounges, hotel bars and restaurant reception areas where a pair of chairs flanks a side table. The low arms let guests sit sideways and talk, which is how lobby chairs are often used.
