This is the same leather-shell lounge chair as our Moss Shell, upholstered in a busy small-scale check. The pattern is woven, not printed, in rust, olive, slate and cream squares. A pattern like this is a practical choice in public areas because it hides marks, crumbs and the slight shading that velvet-like fabrics show after a few months of use.
The outer shell stays in plain olive leather, which calms the pattern down and protects the outside of the chair. Slim brass legs rise into a brass ring under the seat. At the back, a brass plate and pin fix the rear leg to the shell.

Specify it for lobby lounges, all-day hotel cafes and co-working lounges, where chairs are used from breakfast to late evening. On a mixed FF&E schedule, plain-fabric versions can sit in the same room, so the check chairs become accents instead of a full set.
